Aura (“we”) is an iOS app for in-store virtual try-on. This policy explains what we collect and how it’s used.
What Aura does You snap a garment and see it on you in Live and/or Photo try-on. The app is built for stores, not online shopping catalogs. You must Sign in with Apple before using try-on.
Information we use
Photos you take or choose: avatar, garments, and try-on results stored on your device
On-device balances: Live time, Photo credits, and subscription status from Apple
Your Sign in with Apple account identifier (so we can secure try-on and grant the free trial once per Apple account)
Basic app operation data needed to run features (for example, whether an avatar is set)
How try-on works To deliver try-on, images or Live video you request may be sent through Aura’s servers, then to:
OpenAI — still images (Photo try-on and avatar prep)
Decart — Live try-on We use these providers only to deliver the feature you asked for.
OpenAI: When you use try-on, we send the garment photo and the finished try-on image to OpenAI to check them for nudity and other unsafe content. This check happens automatically and only for safety. Aura does not keep these images for the check. OpenAI may keep them for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring, then deletes them, and does not use them to train its models.
Free trial New Apple accounts may receive a limited free trial of Live time and Photo credits as shown in the app. The free trial is granted once per Apple account. Deleting the app or using Delete Account on this iPhone does not unlock another free trial for the same Apple account.
Purchases Subscriptions are handled by Apple. We don’t receive your full card number. Use Restore Purchases after Sign in if you already paid.
Delete Account In Settings you can Delete Account. That signs you out and removes your avatar, looks, and credits from this iPhone. We do not currently sync leftover free Live/Photo balances to the cloud, so unused free credits on the device are cleared when you delete. The server keeps a record that your Apple account already received the free trial.
What we don’t do
We don’t sell your personal information
We don’t use your try-on photos in ads
Aura is for everyday clothing try-on — not adult or NSFW use
Your choices You can change or remove your avatar and garments in the app. You can Sign out or Delete Account in Settings. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID settings.
